5-STAR CLASSICAL MEXICAN COLONIAL VILLA

Retreat to your personal villa

Casa Carole offers dramatic indoor and outdoor spaces that take full advantage of the surroundings, including ocean views and lush gardens all around. Classical Mexican architectural touches include beamed cathedral ceilings, exposed adobe brick arches, marble floors, hand-carved colonial furniture and traditional Mexican art and handicrafts, that capture the feeling of inspired luxury and tradition.

THE TROPICAL GARDENS & SECLUDED SANDY BEACH

Serpentine steps lead through a lush tropical flower garden with bananas, coconuts, limes, and papaya trees. Stroll 50 feet along our cobble stone path past the agave garden to the secluded sandy beach. Enjoy great snorkeling among the volcanic rocks in front of the beach. It’s also possible to charter a boat and be picked up from the beach for deep-sea fishing or an excursion down the coast to swim with the fish at the Los Arcos National Marine Sanctuary.

THE POOL DECK TERRACE

The 1,500 Sq. Ft. Pool Deck is a favorite at Casa Carole. Enjoy its natural cantera stone tile floor and the multitude of “masetas” full of flowers. The large 25’ x 12’ heated infinity pool has an adjacent Jacuzzi pool, with benches and a fountain. The infinity pool features a unique toehold ledge along the outside wall about 4 feet below the water level. Relax on this ledge and enjoy the ocean views with a margarita in your hand. The tall palm trees and other plants shade part of the pool from the afternoon sun. Count the many birds flitting from tree to tree. Enjoy the lounge chairs or relax in the traditional “equipale” chairs. If it gets too hot, retire to the Pool Deck alcove with its cooling ceiling fan. Serve yourself from the refrigerator behind the palapa covered bar, stocked with the beverages you have ordered, or enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres served by Pepe daily after 4:30 pm.

THE DINING ROOM & FOOD SERVICE

The Dining Room features hand-carved traditional Mexican furniture, plus hand-crafted Mexican dinner and glassware. The table seats 10 for elegant meals prepared by the chef twice a day. There are 2 highchairs available. Enjoy breakfast on the Dining Room balcony under a protective palapa roof. Watch the early morning fisherman catching your dinner or look for dolphins frolicking right in front of the villa. Pepe, the English-speaking houseman, serves breakfast and dinner. An after-dinner coffee and Kahlua on the balcony will finish off a wonderful day. The well-equipped kitchen, with a large refrigerator, six-burner gas stove and a host of small appliances, is where your personal chef Mari prepares the two meals you have selected each day from her extensive gourmet menu. She will purchase the food you have ordered each day to ensure the freshest available ingredients. Each evening she will present you with the receipts for the food and drink you have ordered. It’s a courtesy to reimburse her each day in pesos.

THE LIVING ROOM

The spacious Living room with its beamed cathedral ceiling, marble floors and exposed brick arches features stylish wicker furniture and traditional Mexican art and locally crafted sculptures. The interior garden and potted plants bring nature indoors and the balcony affords views of the Pool Deck, the infinity pool, the palms and the beach beyond.

THE MEDIA ROOM

Step up into the spacious Media Room with its marble floors, traditional hand-crafted furniture, comfortable equipales chairs, vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. Gather around the flat screen smart TV which delivers local cable including CNN, and other US channels. Plug your favorite movie into the DVD player. We have some classics, like “Night of the Iguana”, or bring along your own movies. The TV is VHS tape compatible, if you still have some. There are books to read and traditional Mexican toys for the kids. For the tech-savvy, plug your laptop into the TV and stream your favorite movie from Netflix, Hulu or other sources.

THE ENTRANCE & NEW SOLAR PANELS

The entrance to Casa Carole welcomes you with two towers, flowers, and ample parking. Our staff will greet you and take your bags to your room. Only the unique towers are visible from the road. The towers form a circular staircase that takes you down through the villa to the pool deck and the beach below. The 60 new solar panels provide all the electrical power the villa requires. Puerto Vallarta is uniquely positioned to support our commitment to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Our use of renewable, solar energy ensures that Casa Carole remains the Best Value on the Beach in this beautiful, tropical paradise.
